FREQUIA featured in Bobby Owsinski's 'New Music Gear Monday'.

Renown audio engineering educator and author (of over 24 books) Bobby Owsinski featured FREQUIA in his 'New Music Gear Monday' blog post...

Of all the techniques that engineering novices have to learn, EQing is one of the most confounding. The reason is that its use comes down to training your ear how to recognize a group of frequencies, which used to be left to experience. That could take a long time, especially in the past, but luckily there are now many excellent training programs available. Perhaps the most accessible is a new app from Zipper Noise called FREQUIA... a bargain at just $59 USD'.

FREQUIA in Sound on Sound.

Critical listening is an integral part of music performance and production, and FREQUIA is designed to help develop these skills. FREQUIA trains users to build an internal reference and develop long-term memory for the sound of a multitude of filters and EQs at different frequencies, gain levels and Q values. Better critical listening abilities lead to a multitude of benefits, whether sculpting sounds, finding and fixing problem frequencies, or hearing subtle differences in timbre.

The training program is personalised to suit each user's performance profile, meaning they get to spend more time focusing on the areas they need to improve. Exclusive to the FREQUIA ear training program, users can sweep the frequency spectrum and hear the parameters changing in real time with the Sweep Enable function. With the choice of eight industry-standard equalisers, FREQUIA users will be guided through five training modes across 81 different training setups. This results in the possibility of over 3,200 unique training scenarios, more than enough to get your ears up to scratch!

FREQUIA is live!

FREQUIA is the culmination of over a decade of research into critical listening and technical ear training. The result is an expert technical ear training application that was painstakingly designed to be both advanced and simple to use; everything you need and nothing you don’t.

FREQUIA trains you to develop an internal reference (long-term memory) for the sound of a multitude of filters and equalizers applied at various frequencies, gain levels, and Q values. By training with FREQUIA you'll learn to identify and correct problem frequencies faster, sculpt sounds with more accuracy, and hear increasingly subtle differences in timbre.

Forget answering random questions, FREQUIA's' Adaptive Training mode provides personalised training based on your unique performance profile. You'll save hours by spending less time training on what you know and more time training where you need to improve.
